Hip-Bone Music kicks off the summer bone2pick series with our artist of the month for June, the great John Fedchock. An internationally renowned trombonist, composer/arranger, bandleader, producer and educator, John graciously sits down with his old friend Michael Davis to discuss his early days in Cleveland, not making the marching band at Ohio State, his incredible 7 year tenure on the Woody Herman Orchestra, leading his revered New York Big Band, his work with the XO brass company, the tools needed to become a great producer and his pro active spirit that has helped forge one of the most exceptional careers in the history of the trombone.
