Justin DiCioccio

They say it ain’t like it used to be, well . . . when was it like it used to be? It never was like it used to be!

Happy New Year to all from Hip-Bone Music! We kick off our 2016 bone2pick season with an energizing sit down with one of the foremost jazz educators of our time, the great Justin DiCioccio. Justin brings his inimitable passion to the table as he and Michael discuss his outstanding jazz program at the esteemed Manhattan School of Music, how he built the award winning LaGuardia High School of the Arts jazz program, the creation of the Grammy Band, his early years freelancing in New York and what it was like hanging with JFK as the official White House drummer.
