Hi Michael, I’ve enjoyed all of your interviews since you started Bone2Pick…all informative and inspiring with many of the musicians I most respect and admire.
I must say that your interview with Peter Steiner really touched me. I’m a sixty-something trombonist who finds it hard to find the inspiration of my youth. This young man has one of the qualities I most admire…the ability to truly communicate his inspiration and inspire us at the same time! BRAVO Michael and Peter!!

He is a brilliant musician and trombonist. As an American who played principal trumpet in a major European orchestra for 31 years, I will just say that Americans are very impressed (too impressed?) by Europeans. Like – if it comes from Europe, it’s better. Not necessarily true, of course. Be objective, that’s all. My zwei pfennig. Grüss Gott.
