One of the greatest French Horn players in the history of the instrument, Phil Myers has held the position of Principal Horn in the New York Philharmonic for the past 33 years. Phil sits down with Michael to discuss everything from his early relationship with Dale Clevenger, his first jobs in Halifax, Pittsburgh and Minnesota, winning the job in New York and his use of inderal in dealing with performance anxiety.
