We started playing brass instruments very young. I think it was mostly from our curiosity of the shiny metal objects in the forbidden room.

Great Britain has produced a mother lode of brilliant brass playing talent over the past century or so. Derek Watkins, Don Lusher and Mark Nightingale are a very short list of virtuosi who come to mind immediately. That short list needs to be lengthened by two with the addition of the great Elliot and Brad Mason. Combined they form one of the most dynamic and energizing brother led bands since the extraordinary Brecker Brothers bands of the 70s, 80s and 90s.
