Terell’s extraordinary career includes recording on over 130 CDs with the likes of McCoy Tyner, Bobby Watson, Cedar Walton, Shirley Scott, Mulgrew Miller, Benny Golson and Jimmy Heath, to name just a few. He has recorded 8 CDs as a leader and has been a member of the venerable Vanguard Jazz Orchestra for over 10 years. Terell’s pure enthusiasm and love of music is at the forefront as he discusses his incredible journey as an instrumentalist, composer, educator and impresario.
